The service
Tomeful is a reading diary for keeping a shelf, writing about books, and finding a next read with less noise. The service is in beta, so features may change, pause, or disappear while we improve them.
We will try to keep the service available and your reading record intact, but beta software is not a promise of uninterrupted access or permanent storage.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details private and use an account that represents you. You are responsible for activity through your account and for the content you choose to publish.
If you are no longer comfortable with an account, you can change its privacy settings or contact us about access or deletion at [email protected].
Your writing and our space
You keep ownership of the reviews, lists, notes, and other writing you add. You give Tomeful the limited permission needed to store, display, and share that content according to the visibility you choose, so the service can work.
Please do not post unlawful, threatening, hateful, or infringing material; impersonate someone else; scrape the service; or interfere with its security or other readers' use of it. We may remove content or suspend access when necessary to protect people or the service.
Book information and links
Catalog details can come from external book sources and may be incomplete or wrong. Tomeful does not guarantee the availability, edition, description, or suitability of a book. Links to other services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Privacy and cookies
Essential cookies keep the service working. Optional analytics is off unless you choose to allow it, and you can change that choice from the Privacy page at any time. Our Privacy notice explains the data we keep, why we use it, and how to ask for access, correction, or deletion.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms as the beta changes. If a change materially affects how you use Tomeful, we will update the date above and make the revised terms available here.
